i know, i'm lame...
i know...it's ghetto but i've been meaning to post these for a few weeks now. and since i'm almost at the month mark, here are the kids in their Halloween costumes. Eden was such a good sport and kept her witch hat on most of the time. Collin loved being Po from Kung Fu Panda...and still enjoys wearing the costume around the house. he loved trick or treating this year and didn't really care about the candy...it was all about going to each house and seeing how they decorated! and of course, i loved to hear him reject candy - he would say, "Oh, no thankyou...I already have one of those." (he did the same thing last year, it was a riot!) he's all ready to be Indiana Jones next year - we'll see how long that lasts!

i love my collin

10 pounds
it's working. the wellness pro plan is working and in 2 1/2 weeks, i've lost 10 pounds. i'll admit, it hasn't been easy and i wasn't sure if i had enough self control, especially when it comes to food. but adam has been super supportive and i've been able to make it to 10 pounds. only 30 more to go. i'm a little nervous about maintaining the weight loss when i get to my goal weight, but hopefully this has taught me about choices and decisions and being healthy rather than just trying to get skinny.
in other news, i need to post my halloween photos, and photos of collin and eden having fun. i've been keeping super busy making items from my website for a boutique i'm in this weekend. wish me luck!

Wellness Pro
i know, i've commented, posted, and written about losing weight. for us that are a little chubby - it will be a life long process. with that said, this morning starts a new era. i find myself more motivated to do something and try something new when i've seen results in others.
which brings me to this post...i'm starting a new product today called Wellness Pro. it's your basic 2 shakes for breakfast and lunch, and sensible dinner diet. there are phases and you cut out all carbohydrates for the first 2 weeks - fruit, breads, sugar etc. after reading about the company and it's product line i was convinced. it's organic, formulated by a nutritionist, and healthy. within the first 2 weeks, my friend lost over 10 pounds. another friend has lost over 37 pounds in 3 months. it's strict, which is exactly what i need. there are specific foods you can eat, and only those. it's restricting, but for me, i need something that will jump start my metabolism and fat burning, while not making me feel hungry. and i can't count points anymore or eat 6 times a day. life gets in the way and i feel overwhelmed by it all. i'll be posting before and after pics once i get the ball rolling.
here's to skinny jeans and no more muffin tops!

an eden update
our little girl isn't so little anymore. i can't believe how fast she's growing. i haven't done a very good job of journaling her milestones as i should have...so i'm going to make up for lost time. (in other words, most of this will be for posterity's sake rather than the general public)!
eden is 9 1/2 months old now. crawling everywhere. no more inchworming! she's pulling herself up onto anything that she can, but once she's up, she gets scared and doesn't know how to get back down! she's started to say a few words...the basics, mama, dada, and bob-bo - which we have no idea what she means. it's either for brother, binkie, or bottle. but she says it all the time, and on command too! she also started waving goodbye about 6 weeks ago and it's darling! when we took her up on the lift at Sundance, she would wave to all the people going the opposite direction.
at her 9 month check up, all was good. she weighs about 18 pounds, is average for her height, and is on the small side for her head and weight. she is a good eater - she loves her veggies, fruit, and especially yogurt! she's funny though, she ALWAYS fights her bottles. it's like she knows that sleep comes after the bottle, and fights it with all her might.
she loves to play with other kids and babies. she loves to kiss her reflection in the mirror. if she could, she'd be attached to her dad at the hip forever. she is great when i'm doing her hair in the morning. she gets the BEST bed head known to man. she loves to kiss on the lips. she loves to gnaw on buttons. loves her binkies. smiles more than any kid i've ever met or known. she's VERY good natured. she hates to be snuggled when she's tired, she just wants her crib. she won't sleep anywhere else other than her crib. she has my gag reflex. she loves to rub her soft blankets on her face when falling asleep. loves the tub. she's super great in the car, and rarely ever fusses. she'll let you kiss her endlessly and doesn't push away. she has the funniest giggle and scrunches up her nose.
i just love her more and more each day. she is truly the light of our lives and is just pure sunshine!

a little update
Sunday I took a drive with Collin and Eden through the Alpine Loop. It was a gorgeous drive, even with all the leaves dead. I was mesmerized by all the Quaking Aspens, and snapped a few photos. Enjoy.

As tradition goes, we went to the Scarecrow Festival this past weekend. It's really fun, and I love to just pal around with friends and let Collin play.
I've also updated my website with more photos and prices. Visit me at:
